Every connection has a story. Every claim needs a source.

You notice a name in an interview. It appears again in a company filing, then in a story about a government decision. You open another tab. Then another.

ConnectionTrace gives that curiosity a method.

Choose a person and a question. This reusable AI research superprompt guides a capable AI assistant through the people, organisations, money, ideas and events around them - helping you build a dated connection map, a timeline and an evidence trail you can inspect.

Follow the question that interests you

  • How did this person reach their position?
  • Who supplied the funding, knowledge or access behind a breakthrough?
  • What business relationships existed before a public appointment?
  • Where did an institution or influential idea begin?
  • Does the evidence support a claim you heard in an interview?

See the connections. Check what they mean.

Ask an AI to “connect the dots” and you may receive a compelling story. ConnectionTrace adds a repeatable research process: identify the person, date the relationships, record the sources, test the explanation and examine alternatives.

That means you can see which links are documented, which are reported, and which still need evidence.

Use commands such as FOLLOW THE MONEY, TRACE ORIGINS, TEST CLAIM and CHALLENGE to choose your next direction. Start with a Quick Map or work through a deeper investigation. Guided Learning mode explains research decisions as you go.

An investigation layer built for source tracing

Version 1.1 includes workflows for finding relevant James Corbett investigations and Sam Cooper reporting, interviews and posts. It guides your assistant back through citations, timestamps and underlying records, and checks whether apparently separate accounts repeat the same original source.

These are research routes, not a bundled archive. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.

What you receive

  • ConnectionTrace v1.1 master superprompt - an editable Markdown file.
  • Quick Start PDF - activate the prompt and begin your first investigation.
  • Product Guide PDF - modes, commands, outputs and practical troubleshooting.
  • Worked Example PDF - a clearly fictional case showing how claims become a careful connection map.
  • Research worksheet - reusable tables for entities, relationships, sources and claims.
  • Personal and commercial research-use licence - use the workflow for your own projects and client work; redistribution of the prompt is excluded.

Before you buy

This is a digital prompt toolkit used inside your own AI assistant. A capable assistant with web browsing is recommended; without browsing, you can work from documents you supply. Any AI subscription is separate. There is no standalone app, private database access or automatic monitoring. Diagrams and exports depend on your assistant's capabilities. AI output and important claims still need your review.

The package suits curious readers, history enthusiasts, writers, creators and independent researchers who want a structured way to investigate. It does not guarantee discoveries or prove wrongdoing.

Start with one person. Ask one worthwhile question. Follow the evidence.
